Growing up I was introduced to hunting by my friends Dad who let me tag along on a pheasant hunt in a field along a creek in Lancaster, PA, where I grew up. The next time he took me out was for deer and he gave me a 20 gauge to use and I came home the happiest boy in the world even though it was just a doe. 

After that my love for the outdoors grew and grew. How did I get to Kansas your wondering... While my good friend was on a harvest crew I came out to visit and I fell in love with the sunsets and abundance of wild game instantly. I decided I’m moving, so I did just that.

After finding a job and settling in that first Fall was a game changer as the caliber of deer I was used to hunting in Eastern Pennsylvania didn’t come close to my first Kansas buck. I’ve never forgotten that first deer and the enjoyment it brought me. Over the years I’ve found great enjoyment in guiding friends and family on their first Kansas Buck and seeing the joy it brings them.  

I eventually moved back to Pennsylvania and got married  to my beautiful, and ever so supporting wife Courtney, and started a family. The idea of starting a guide service has always been in the back of my mind but always seemed unrealistic...  but here we are! 

I’ve come to realize that hunting is my passion and something that I love. It’s not just about killing a beautiful animal but being able to bring home the reward of the hunt while feeding your family and friends. All while making new friends and memories, taking and giving advice on different hunting tactics/life in general, and getting to experience being in the outdoors. Taking in every moment, every living thing, and enjoying every sunset till it’s last drop.
